ILLUSTRATION OF THE "JET GROUTING" TECHNIQUE
The operations envisaged by this technology are divided essentially in two phases:

I PHASE

Drilling phase:
Introduction, with core- destruction drilling, of a rod series into the soil down to the depth of treatment requested by the project. The lower end of the rod series is equipped with a drilling head and a special ejector valve carrying one or more nozzles orthogonal to the rod axis.

II PHASE

Extraction phase with simultaneous injection:
the high-pressure injection of the mixture takes place during the battery-extraction phase.
It is during this phase that, by means of persistence of the jet in a certain direction for a certain period of time, achieved by acting upon the speed of extraction and, when necessary, of rotation of the rod series, it is possible to obtain volumes of treated soil of the desired shape and dimension.
